22-year-old defender Rafa Marin impressed for Alaves last season, catching the eye of several European football clubs.

‘Diario AS’ reported on Monday that. Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna is in talks with Real Madrid to sign 22-year-old centre-back Rafa Marin. UFABET Who impressed during his loan spell at Alaves last season.

Marin is reportedly another centre-back that Napoli are keen to sign this summer. Along with Torino’s Alessandro Buongiorno, to complete Antonio Conte’s backline, with the Madrid outlet claiming the Neapolitan side have presented a project. In which the 22-year-old would play a key role in convincing him to move to Italy.

AC Milan are also looking for a centre-back and Marin is one of their options. The 22-year-old is also a favourite of Leverkusen boss Xavier Alonso should the club lose Germany international Jonathan Tah this summer. 

However, Real Madrid have not given Marin the green light to leave the Santiago Bernabeu as Nacho Fernandez has yet to decide whether to continue playing for the club or leave the team to play in the Saudi Arabian league with Al-Ittihad.

Marin has previously been linked with a number of clubs across Europe. Including Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Wolfsburg and Villarreal. But he remains confident in his future at Real Madrid and has agreed to extend his contract with the club before moving to the Basque Country club to further develop his skills.
